About Samira
Samira Ben Ali is a climate justice advocate from the island of Mayotte. With a background in political sciences and international environmental law, she now works as a Campaigner for the World’s Youth for Climate Justice. Samira is passionate about intersectional justice, the protection of rights of small island communities against the consequences of climate change and youth participation in decision-making processes. She is also engaged in various other initiatives to fight for those causes. As such, she serves the International Coordinator at CliMates France and she is an European Climate Pact Ambassador for the EU Climate Pact.
