About Pema
Pema Wangmo Lama is a Mugum Indigenous youth, Indigenous activist and feminist focusing on climate change and sustainable development for social and environmental justice.
She is vice-chair of WE-WIN, WE-Women from Indigenous Nationalities. She strongly believes in systemic change and policy shifts to establish an equitable society for all. Working with and for Indigenous Peoples, she focuses on strengthening grassroots voices to bring the realities of communities at the policy making spaces.
