About ‘Oto’ota

My name is ‘Oto’ota ‘Aho, I am 22 years old and I hail from the Kingdom of Tonga. I am currently a 4th year student in the University of the South Pacific, Laucala Campus studying a BA/LLB programme majoring in Pacific Policing and Law.

I had opted to join this interview because I have been interested in the topic of climate change and sharing our stories from a Pacific perspective is a surreal and genuine testimony because we, Pacific islanders are the frontliners in the effects of climate change. And I wanted to participate in the movement that PISFCC is making to make our voices heard, as every voice and person counts to make a difference.
