About Michael
Michael is a sipineq (queer) Inuk, OHCHR Indigenous Fellow, an activist-, advocate for 2SLGBTQIA+ & the Rights of Indigenous Peoples in Nunarput, Inuit Nunaat (colonially known as so-called ‘Greenland/kalaallit nunaat’) and in Denmark. Currently Michael is studying Bachelor of Arts in Humanities: Inuit- and Arctic Studies at the University of Copenhagen. Michael is a decisive voice on the inclusion of Inuit and Indigenous Rights in Denmark including the City of Copenhagen ‘action plan against racism, ethnic discrimination and hate crimes’.
