About Ayisha
Ayisha Siddiqa is the founder and co-Executive Director of Future Generations Tribunal and a J.D candidate, Epstein Public Interest and Achievement Fellow at UCLA Law. Her work focuses on uplifting the rights of marginalized communities while holding polluting companies accountable at the international level. She has organized multiple school strikes for climate since 2019, in addition to campaigns on human rights defense, climate finance, UN climate treaties, and indigenous people's rights.
She is contributing author to "The Climate Book" edited by Greta Thunberg and "The Revolution Will Not Be Litigated" edited by Katie Redford and most recently “What if we get it Right?: Visions of Climate Futures” edited by Dr. Ayana Elizabeth.
Ayisha is currently serving as a climate advisor to the United Nations Secretary General and is on th International Energy Agency’s Commission on People Centered Energy.
